For the case of Lanka, the Ravana was under the criminal act of kidnapping goddess SITA, Wife of Lord Ram. TIHAR is festive around five days with special worshipping days for different living beings like dogs, crows, and also upon Gods and goddesses. We are ending up with a family-based festive very popularly known a vai tika / Bhai dooj.

As seen mostly the dates of the Tihar or also we’ll be known as Diwali occurs around in October, similarly based on the Nepalese calendar it falls on Kartik.With an estimated gap of 15 days approx from Dashain. The biggest festive day on this festive is the Laxmi puja which takes place on the 3rd day and 5th day is the Bhai tika.

Tihar, also globally very popularly known as Diwali, also entitled as the festivals of light. It all started from the time when Lord RAM sacrificed his throne for the love of his stepmother and left the kingdom for 14 years, on the journey of which the kidnapping of Lord Sita has taken place, and soon Lord RAM successfully saved her after defeating the entire army of Ravana and the Ravana itself.

After completing 14 years of his exile, he was finally invited back with respect to his King’s position by his beloved brother Bharat. And on the very similar occasion of the arrival of Lord RAM into Ayodhya after 14 years, Diwali is celebrated. It is named as the festivals of light because of the enormous no.
