For fall, we think brown is perfect for the season. “We’re thinking about a little bit of autumnal, brown tones,” said nail polish colorist and owner of Nail Polish University, Sarah Dallesandro.
“It’s not too dark, but it’s more of a chocolatey, warm tone,” Dallesandro added that she likes to go with a matte finish when it NAIL POLISH comes to brown nail polishes.
The Nail Polish University colorist also likes to use browns as a base, like the new Brown Sugar collection from L’Oreal Paris. “Browns are good because they make your nails look longer, so if you have short nails, it helps,” said Dallesandro.
“And it just looks really nice.” For spring, Dallesandro thinks a light brown is perfect for the season. “We’re definitely thinking of a soft, springy tone,” she said.
